The Senators arrived on Saturday morning to take on Indianas best wood bat teams in the state. The games were dominated by great pitching performances along with timely hitting and excellent execution in the area of small ball.

The Senators won three games on Saturday and followed that up with two more on Sunday to become repeat Semi-Pro Shootout Champs!

Game #5 - Senators 10 -NW Patriots 4

After a shaky first inning Steve Underwood bounces back and fires the complete game victory. Patriots jump out to a 2-0 lead. The Senators tie it, 2-2, and Patriots again take the lead, 3-2.
The Senators take the lead on another successful suicide squeeze by Adam Piotrowicz. That opened the flood gates as the Senators won, 10-4
Brock Doty, Javy Jimenez, Nelson Sanchez, Kevin Perri, Sean Galiher and Butch Milovich all had a multiple hit game.

Game #4 - Senators 2 - Shady Nook 1

Jayson Best outdueled Keith Shepherd for the victory. Shepherd threw his second complete game in two days (looking much more effective in this enourmous feat) and took the hard luck loss. Victor Odreman drove in Enrique Odreman with the first run in the 3rd. Shady Nook came back to tie in the top of the sixth and the Senators bounced right back to take the lead in the bottom of the sixth. Nelson Sanchez reached second on a throwing error by the 3rd baseman, John Kehoe singled him to third and Javy Jiminez successfully executes the suicide squeeze for the win in an exciting game.

Game #3 - Senators 4 - Evansville Outlaws 0

John Huemmer picks up the bizarre victory. Brock had a double and a 3 run HR to lead the attack. After arguing balls and strikes Evansville manager Tim Turpin recieved the boot that ended the game. After the ejection Head ump Eric Harmon ended the game in the second inning and play did not resume.

 

Game #2 - Senators 5 -Indy Dodgers 0

Scott Marks fires a complete game 3 hitter for the complete game shutout victory. Victor Odreman had 2 doubles and John Kehoe had 2 hits and picked up 2 RBI's.

Game #1 - Senators 3 - Shady Nook 1

Galiher outpitches former major leaguer Keith Shepherd
Victor Odreman drove in a run and Tae Tae Jennings stole home with excellent baserunning in the first inning to give the Senators the early lead and pitcher Sean Galiher made it hold up.
